I agree there should be a choice at least, although it is custom in many countries not to allow men in the delivery room, it is strange for others and for me as in the UK my husband was present for both births of my daughters and was a great support. I wish he could also be present for the third but it seems not possible in Qatar unless you go private.
Do HMC allow female family members in the delivery room at all? I've read mixed answers about allowing any family members present at the birth at all?
