The day you reported for duty counts and not the day landed in Doha. Be patient and do not get in to labor laws as early as with in 2 months of your joining. Here law says something but your company say many things, you must adjust the situation, try to build your career, make money and ensure your purpose of coming to Qatar is achieved. Good luck.
