Sorry to ask another question about the same subject but the employer who organised my yearly work visa has refused to cancel the visa as they say it will look bad on their company with the ministry because they request a visa but do not use. They have said that if I travel to Qatar they will issue an exit permit for me - but I am not comfortable with this.

I am therefore resigned to the fact that I must sit out for 6 months.

I would like to know if I use another passport (apply for a new one) would this make a difference as my passport number would be different.
