I feel the same way as Sandra. It is good to learn language from a native speaker or highly trained non native speaker. I had been learning Arabic , I could see the difference in the quality when an Egyption teaches when compared to other nation. It does not mean that the untrained native speaker is better than the trained non-native speaker. But for "practice" as you have put it, it really make sense. But you could also watch movies and other sources till you get your native speaker.
