If you compare Doha to Abudhabi, there is no comparision at all. AUH is far superior as a city, with much more greenery and walking space. Walking and fresh air is very difficult to get in Doha. You are either in office, mall, home or car.
School wise also AUH is at a better position, the quality and availability wise. Shifting the kids are a problem but not the biggest one, as they are very fast to adjust. Only thing is you have to convince them and mentally prepare them from atleast three to four months before.
The worst affected will be your wife, if she is not a working wife. She will have nothing to do after the kids leave for school at 630 am. She is going to suffer the most. The kids and the father will be spending most part of the day at school or office, so house wife/ working wife, big issue. She is the most important factor.
So the decesion should be based on the job(quality of the Company, the money, the future prospect and the career). Hence in my opinion if the job offer is very very good so that all the negative aspects can be overlooked then only you should take a move. Sacrifice your wife and kids for Job/money?? the descision is yours....
