After reading all the posts looks like it is better to be hired as a maid then hire a maid...:) all bl**dy crap ...rights and privileges of the maid...duh...what about the employers rights and privileges...but then that is not fashionable..... crying foul over oppression of the weaker person is a big crowd puller... in the nut shell one hires a maid to make life simpler not to get worried about following so many rules and regulations and watch each step dealing with her. You hired the maid, you are paying, you are responsible for her actions, so you set the rules...only mistake you did was to come on QL...here people are ready to raise red flags at anything and everything even if they are not exposed to the situation or have experienced one.

Tomorrow if beacuse of your good/ tolerant behavior you run into a problem with authorities or something like that and then run that story again here...the same people will easily brand you an idiot...:)

I though liked the way you filtered the responses and picked the right ones to compliment.
