scanner machine only shows the body outline and detects whether you have something that is not allowed to take onboard (the airplane).

Why would they object to undergo/go though the scanner machine if they have nothing to hide? Someone said (above) that once they checked it through the computer, it gets deleted. So, what's the fuss all about for? :/
