but you guys think it's NICE/MATURE to hit back on PM for "speaking her mind"? This is Qatarliving.com, we post topics about living in Qatar. She may be very vocal that she was pissed off by what she experienced but other posters did post their experiences which i could say, adding gas to the fire.
Nonetheless...PM could not be faulted for what she said, coz she speaks HER TRUTH and "TRUTH HURTS", you know. And for the period of Time I've known PM here in QL, she do defend the Muslim/Qatari culture, beliefs, etc from other posters who crosses the line...
I've been here for almost 5 years now and during QATAR NATIONAL DAY celebrations, I have had good experiences like:
* These teenagers knocking on my car door and putting those little Qatari flags in my car...and shouting happily. You can't help but get affected by their happy attitude.
* car horns and loud music...it's like NEW YEAR celebration back in my country.
* locals and expats waving to each other...
Anyways...we all know that some local teenagers do acted rowdyly that day which somehow inconvenienced a few(if not a lot) people.
It's THAT ONE DAY of the year where Qataris can have fun...just be happy with/for them.
