I was impressed with Al Ahli when I broke my leg, it was the first hospital I'd ever been in and it gave me a good impression of hospitals everywhere.
Until they referred me to the Hell that is Hamad's orthopedic outpatient clinic. HELL!! with a freshly broken leg and no cast, they make you queue about 6 times, on crutches, foot turning blue with all the blood from my ruptured muscles.
Queues to arrive, to pay, to wait so see the doctor, for x-ray, back to the doctor, for the casting room, it wasn't until the tears flowed that someone offered me a broken wheelchair.
then i relaised Al Ahli is not a normal hospital, it is heaven. had a subsequent operation there and ... i agree it was love. Insurance covered all of the expenses too.
