HI. IM NOT REALLY EXPERT. BUT I LOVE TROUBLESHOOTING THINGS THAT IS WHY I HAVE MANY IPHONES FIXED. (sorry about the CAPS letter..)
Anyway, if your running 1.0.2, you just need to re-virginize your iphone so that you can upgrade to 1.1.1. its okay if you use iUnlock or anysim as long as you don't use hardware lock or IPSW before because it won't work on the site i posted. anyway, if you are sure that you are 1.0.2, try this site.
in that site, it is really step by step. and remember, don't skip a step or go shortcut or else you will end up bricking your phone.
(but don't worry, if you brick it, i can fix it.) ok?
