God does exist and he has proved himself in various ways.If you are not convinced with all that he has already done,then the only way for you is to wait till he returns to prove it again but then you won't get a chance to believe.
Now about whether he cares if you are a Gay or not-Yes he does cares and if you want to be sure read ROMANS 1:25,26,27.To understand this or to be convinced you got to believe that Bible is the word of God otherwise nothing can convince you.
