As far as the rest of you, especially the guys..until you experience it, you have no idea what its like...its horrible to be stared at every single time you go out anywhere. Its happened when I am even with my husband in a very public cafeteria (and yes, totally covered up). Its not just looking as some of you guys say..its mentally undressing you and that's just not an acceptable way to be. To compare it with rape ridiculous..but if its not addressed, it can very quickly escalate to that level. What's been noted is that the crime rate IS going up in Qatar. That includes sexual ones. Ladies, be safe, please..do NOT be lulled into that false sense of security that nothing ever happens here. Do what you would do back home, be aware and pay attention.

I have never experienced it from a Qatari however..but some of the other men..geezzzzz...
