panic calls were made from my side to my sister in muscat who,thank god, was safe but without electricity more than half a day yesterday. the whole house was leaking with water coming from ac vents, windows and side doors. according to her the city was calm because the government had made sure ppl took precautionary measures including stocking up on groceries. in case of a more serious cyclone everyone was told to move to higher grounds.
