Xena is right, this is just turning into a mud slinging match!!
I myself made a special trip from the UK to see Marco V play in Qatar on 8th Feb.
I actually can't quite believe what I'm reading here because Our group of people had such a wonderful time - we varied from student's to CEO's of global companies. We had a great time.
1. There was no one being sick that we could see.
2. The ladies room was kept clean enough - ok they did run out of toilet paper now and then - but that's normal! - no one passed out, no one hogging the bathroom either.
3. As for kids - I saw none and were in-fact i.d'd ourselves with no one in the group under the age of 28. I took that as a compliment he he.
4. I can't believe - who said people were smoking weed - what a laugh (you sure you aren't in competition with these organizers and trying to up yourself in the most demeaning way?)
5. People 'humping' - everyone in and out of the middle east knows thats not allowed - come on now!!
In all seriousness we all loved this event and are trying to make it back to Doha for more because there is no other decent nightlife there - worth mentioning anyway. SO why not embrace the new instead of living in the 12th century like a lot of you on here seem to be doing. I don't mean any offense by that but come on give these people a break. It seems to me that they are trying to give Qatar a good night on an international scale, but all people are doing here is nit-picking.
Yes of course it will take them a while to iron out the flaws.
Yes it sounds like the venue isn't great - sometimes you have to do the best with what you have. From what we all saw - being clubbers who travel a lot to find a good party.
We found just that - a great night
No complaints here mate - we'll be back!!
Thanks again Master jay - but next time we'll be looking for some free tickets.
