Xena is right, this is just turning into a mud slinging match!!

I myself made a special trip from the UK to see Marco V play in Qatar on 8th Feb.

I actually can't quite believe what I'm reading here because Our group of people had such a wonderful time - we varied from student's to CEO's of global companies. We had a great time.

1. There was no one being sick that we could see.

2. The ladies room was kept clean enough - ok they did run out of toilet paper now and then - but that's normal! - no one passed out, no one hogging the bathroom either.

3. As for kids - I saw none and were in-fact i.d'd ourselves with no one in the group under the age of 28. I took that as a compliment he he.

4. I can't believe - who said people were smoking weed - what a laugh (you sure you aren't in competition with these organizers and trying to up yourself in the most demeaning way?)

5. People 'humping' - everyone in and out of the middle east knows thats not allowed - come on now!!

In all seriousness we all loved this event and are trying to make it back to Doha for more because there is no other decent nightlife there - worth mentioning anyway. SO why not embrace the new instead of living in the 12th century like a lot of you on here seem to be doing. I don't mean any offense by that but come on give these people a break. It seems to me that they are trying to give Qatar a good night on an international scale, but all people are doing here is nit-picking.

Yes of course it will take them a while to iron out the flaws.

Yes it sounds like the venue isn't great - sometimes you have to do the best with what you have. From what we all saw - being clubbers who travel a lot to find a good party.

We found just that - a great night

No complaints here mate - we'll be back!!

Thanks again Master jay - but next time we'll be looking for some free tickets.

best wishes to all

The users.. Abdulla Alkuwari, theye & doha_awakness are the same person...

Stop talking rubbish so you can make urself look better.

This is the person that i treated like a brother, this is the person that i let stay in my home in the uk for 1 month eating from the same table, this is the person that i got international gigs for, this is the person i have helped as much as i could help, this is the person i put in contact with some of the biggest djs on the planet to help him progress, this is the person that played at GDJ...

NOW... this is person starting a SMEAR CAMPAIGN against me, this is the person that has stabbed me in the back, this is the person who tried to wreck my 7 year releationship with my best friend & this is the person that has stabbed me in the back many a time after me doing nothing but good things..

This is also the person with the newest night in Doha.. Think about it.. it all adds up...

Maybe u should waste your energy on more important things like your night instead of trying to miss guide the people from our night.

AS FOR ALL THE OTHER POSTS...

Like i said, i think 90% of this thread is rubbish or LIES, unfounded and untrue & i also have witness of hundreds saying the opposite...

However, i did say i will have people look into everything and sort anything out that needs sorting out. I can't do any more than that...

Thanks for the constructive comments from some other people..

TO DOHA!! Thanks for the hundreds of emails, txts & Myspace msg's thanking us for a lifeline in 2006 & they can't wait for us in 2007, just because 5 people say something doesnt mean it's true and it will not change the world...

If anyone wants to be a part of what we do and help us get better than we already are then you know where to find us online, the forum or on myspace, i wont be a part of more lies, im sorry but i have better things to do with my time.

Well that had to happen someone from the ministry of interior getting stuck in. And surprise they are shocked at people kissing and drinking.

Da Dahh welcome to the real world my friend, it must be earth shattering to know this is going on in Qatar, oh no the real world has come crashing onto the shores of the Gulf. Press the panic button, call the Heir, battern down the hatches, close the borders. Can we flog some people, perhaps we could lock them up for "illicit relations"

Anyway apart from that, the global DJs nights are without doubt the best nights out in Doha, and have been a bit of a lifeline as lets be honest Doha is probably the most utterly DULL place on earth. The nights do have their flaws, there does seem to be too many teenagers but as discussed they are working at solving that issue, the organisers should be commended for trying to bring some excitement to these shores, after all its much needed. As for someone being shocked from the minsitry. Well please don't go again, don't ruin for the rest of us. In this day and age if you get teenagers or any large group of young people together, guess what we will dance and cavort and even kiss in public. After all we are free to do it, ok maybe not in this country but hey what to do.

Qatar as far as I know is part of what is commonly known as the World. And as much as it tries to modernise the process is always going to be too much for some people, it would a be a shame if these people stopped the only decent night out in Doha.

Good lord it is DANCING get over it. Dancing and kissin g is completey normal. As for drugs I saw none at the event

. Security seemed to do a decent job inside.

ANY mixed gender event will have some sexual overtones. If you are gay and enjoy dancing and touching with other guys I suggest you go to San Francisco. As for the kissing and dancing that is exactly what these events are for. We are in a society which is rapidly changing and eventually even Qatari's will learn how to date and have fun with the other sex. The kissing and dancing do not mean there must be sex occurring. Learn to have fun and not be uptight.

The ID issue and venue issue falls on the club not the entertainer, as you said the DJ's are on stage providing enteryainment. These guys are no the management or security for the venue.

Get a clu!

I am done posting about this topic, and await the next event to see the changes implemented by the venue and the entertainers.

give life in doha a chance and get over the draconian culture.

Hey guys...

I was myself in the last Global Djs...which everyone is talking about...I myself work in the ministry of interior...and what I saw there was a big shame for whoever organized this event.

I always go to Dubai and Beirut, and went much to London and the states for almost the last 10 years, and I don't believe the organizer of Global Djs is even have the gutts to answer back, and say whatever he said...

My girlfriend was trying more than one hour to enter the toilet, as there were kids passed out in the girls toilet, and we had to leave the place, cause it was full of babies, i'm not saying teenagers, but babies passed out in the toilet...

Master Jay, aren't you the same guy who were playing??!! How dare you let such babies in such an alcoholic event, I already took pictures of a lot of teens who were kissing and almost humping, and others who were wasted smoking weeds...me and my girlfriend didn't believe that in Qatar and in Dj events there are weeds in such public places...Is this Qatar ?!!! or I"m in another country!!!

As of my position, I will work myself on stopping such people from doing such events in this country...I read on top of this post that there is a teacher was involved, Teacher "I would need you to testify against the organizers of this event, i would your full contact, and I will contact you regarding testifying...this rubbish shouldn't stay only on the forum, but we should something about it...but without you testifying, I cannot prove anything, I have pictures, and I witnessed things myself, but I need you and also other adults who attended this event with you, and witnessed what we both witnessed...

Master Jay, it seems that you forgot where are you living, and in this country no one is more powerful than the law, and I will prove to you in no time what I"m talking about...We don't need people like you in this country, and we'll make sure of having you out soon...

My favourite part, that you're throwing everything on diplomatic club, their security, their drinks, their service...aren't you the promoter ?!!! or if you're not, I need the name of the promoter, and to which company all these events are registered, and under which CR number...

All the hidden points will be showed soon, and we'll get to know who's involved, and who's msitake was all this ? and owe to those gonna be caught gilty...even those children who attended the event with weed, will all be caught up...

WHERE ARE THE PARENTS OF THESE CHILDREN ?!!

Do they know that their children are drunk, smoking weeds, and humping and kissing in public ??

Again is this Qatar ?

You will all be punished guys, from God and from his goverment...and no one is more powerful than the law...

Hey guys..

Tyler has hit the nail on the head! THANK YOU!!

There are a lots of things i would like to say on here but can't due to signed agreemants but tyler seen it first hand.

Everything everyone talks about and moans about is out of our control at the moment, however we are in the process of refining for next year and we will work close with the people we need to, to get the job done RIGHT!

Listen ppl..

At the end of the day, we try our hardest to do this night, we didnt go for a full year for nothing, i will try my hardest to sort all these small issues out, lets face it, if this was europe there wouldnt even be an issue...

We will be re launching in Feb with the biggest night in Global DJs history & the biggest event Doha has seen in a very long time, that will set the standard for us and others to follow for 2007.

Several Top 10 & Top 20 DJs booked for 2007.

Merry Xmas and a happy New Year everyone...

Well Master Jay Said !

((Well if that where true then we would let them in for free like all the other promoters ))Well The answer for this ! Sorry Jay The other Promoters never allow da girlz for free. Second Thing As far I'm also promoter & DJ in here,I was controlling the Door Till 11 Pm I Didn't Allow any one under 20 Thats why we didn't have people inside the venue cuz of my rolls age! Then Shit happen after i left the gate The other people let every one in I admit that & won't be happen again on the 28th Gig.Because of thats we had only 500 people but atlas not underage ! So please next time watch what you saying about others and don't take it personal my friend !

PS. Sorry Guys i didn't introduce my self just had to answer to that post since I'm in the music line ! Sorry for my English lol

Well folks I said I would go to the show and I did.

I will list the faults that I saw however lets begin with the good things. The DJ's are the enterntainement and the venue controls everything else. Yes we know that the DJ's can work with the venue to correct issues. Now these guys put on a good show. They had a good number of DJ's each with his own style. I thoroughly enjoyed the music. The event was a blast as both Gavin and Master Jay were extremely cordial and out to ensure everyone had fun. They have a good light show and the music is definitely top notch.

As to the undreage issue, this is a venue responsibility. The contract that just ended had the venue allowing 18+ in the door despite the GlobalDJ's desire to make it 21 and up. These guys can talk till they are blue in the face, yet as I saw first hand on Thurs. the Qatari's and Diplo run the show. The venue guys even caused a ruckus by arguing with the Global guys numerous times.

Parking, ID check, and seating are all venue responsibilities which as Master5 Jay said above will be addressed. As these guys do a great job on their part let us all realize we live in Doha and the venue's are just not quite up to the task of putting on these events. This year was a great start and I feel certain that with the input from Global to the Diplo that changes will be made for the January show.

I had a great time out on Thurs and look forward to the next show.

Hmmm- which personality is coming out today?

Finally your forum, has turn out to be a customer relationship forum. I'm content that you are listening and planning a course of action to make your events a better place to hang out and enjoy. Smart move. Is never too late for damage control maneuvers.

One quick suggestion:

Have those high chairs available in the tables, so people could sit down and not standing up for so many hours.

Sincerely

My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. So be it.

Ok..

I've looked at the new comments from Thursday. I can agree with some but not with others.

I myself was also on the door most of the night with the extra guys as well...

Maybe some people can’t tell how old people are... I really don’t know...

As far as i can see everyone was getting checked for id...

I enjoyed the night, some stress, its Xmas so all our friends where on the stage, little bit smoky due to the extra smoke machine and the doors being closed because of the coldness…

Please remember that each individual is in control of themselves and I do not control them nor can I control them, they control themselves.

This is not Miami or London, please remember that its all about educating people and that’s what we try to do. There are thousands of people who have attended our previous events over the past year and im sure most would agree that it’s the closest thing to a night out in major city, Rome wasn’t built in day.

As a promoter, all in all it’s been a good 2006, some big ups, some big downs, some nights younger some nights older, this is what happens in events.

We did minimal marketing on this one, we got over 600 pushing 700, for a December on Christmas with Asian games & so many other events on this month, we knew it would be less than the usual 1000+. That’s probably twice the amount of any other place in Doha except the Qube as they have a high capacity venue.

As a solution to the comments i have got from you...

We have been reviewing the situation & we will be making changes for 2007.

We have time now to do the things we need to do... that’s all I can say…

I’d like to thank everyone for the comments, good or bad, I think I have addressed some above and the rest will be worked out in the coming weeks.

Hope you all have a good Xmas and a happy new year wherever you may be...

I’d also like to thank everyone for their support in 2006; we couldn’t have done it without you…

Thanks Doha!

See you in the New Year…

BECAUSE OF KIDS AND ADULTS ACTING LIKE KIDS,THE PARTY WAS A SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!

As ijs1985 said it, the music was good, but their was many f**k adults guy acting like 7 years kids, climbing, jumping, running, crashing pple and staying around the DJ platform preventing him doing correctly his job,and security pple did anything to stop this. What they f**king doing around the DJ ? It's a shame.

The party was like a zoo, many pple taking pictures, video :).

It seem that people here have no experience of clubbing,no respect of clubbing rules, and most of them were out for the 1st time.I understand now,why many clubs in Doha asked for ID card or membership card.

It was really a teens party

having been to the event on december 7th lets consider....

*the music was good

*the price was ok

*the soundsystem was reasonable

*the marquee was a nice set up

however....

*very, very smokey

*lots and lots of kids which detracts from the overall experience because little kids do not know how to go clubbing properly and respectfully

*this is doha, most local people here have minimal experience of clubbing and large clubs and what sort of things it entails....anyone who is into the scene knows there are do's and dont's and unwritten rules of how to behave and act

*little 16year olds do not know this and basically act like little 16 year olds would....

i can appreciate what is being done to promote this sort of thing in shall we say, an underdeveloped place in the sense of a thriving clubbing scene but there is a long way to go before it can match some world-renowned clubs

i have been to fabric to cream to amnseia to BCM to priveledge and i have never seen such a young crowd at any of those places

next time i want drunk kids jumping on my feet and pushing into me i'll know where to go....

I was a silent spectator to this particular thread. I decided to check it out and then speak out. So thats 2 ticket sales for Master Jay because of Qatar Living ;-)

The +'s

1. No complaints about the 80 bucks. We had a good time.

2. The music was good. The sound system/acoustics could be much better. How did the DJ Aqeel jig sound so good in the same tent a month ago?

3. Security non-interference. They just let the lads and lasses have fun.

4. It was like- Drag Queens of Doha -UNITE! Fun to watch.

5. Doha can do with more such dos.

The -'s

1.Too Too Smoky. Cigarette smoke. Maybe I am prejudiced since I am a non-smoker...but my undergarments stank of cigarette smoke.

2. The sad part was what EVILOOPS said about the underaged crowd. (Ref: You Must Be Having A Laugh!!! » reply Submitted by eviloops on Wed, 13/12/2006 - 10:23pm.) > There were kids aged between 11 and 16. I could see atleast 20 (and I didnt go searching,so...). There should have been an age restriction on the booze atleast.

3. The vicious cycle of drinking, puking, getting chucked out by the guards was repeated quite a few times.

4. Rampant making-out scenes which is very UNLIKE qatar. (Should this have been in the +'s ?)

5. Parking arrangement was pathetic. Ample space, but no attendants to monitor and hence chaotic parking. Was tough on people who wanted to leave early (after 2.00 AM)

I will be there for the next one to see if it's gonna be better.

PS: I noticed that the Entry Stamp which was on my wrist read something like - MARCH 16th , MASTER JAY, SCOT something and DJ JOE MITRI! I will the let the Qatar Living denizens to make what they will out of this...;-)

Well, thanks to Ty, it seems the hostility has calmed down and that we can all put this behind us.

Lets just hope that this hasnt been all in vain.

The proof will be in the pudding tonight whether or not id checks are done on all ppl who appear under the age and hopefully this will have a knock on effect on the bar as no-underaged will be able to purchase alcohol as they wont have been let in in the first place.

Like Ive said before, Im a huge supporter of Master Js music and his events as he mixes very well, however the last one broke the law with bopping teens being drunk and lairy.....nothing to do with his entertainment.

I sincerely hope that tonight goes well for you Master J and thank you for coming to this conclusion - it will be worthwhile in the end Im sure!

Although not admitting any problems we have recieved his word that he shall be looking to correct any that exist. In fact from a conversation he will be at the door this evening so I would fully expect that the ID issue will be settled.

As for "I know someone", it is to be forgotten as the discussion had become juvenile and heated. It did however turn around and has become constructive.

Best of luck to your event!

And we need to get reports on the positive things that occur tonight. Not everyhting could possibly have been negative so lets hear some positive items from tonight.

Glad the childish behaviour has stopped now.

OK, Master Jay, never been to one of your events so not going to comment, good to see that you DID put in there that you intend to straighten things out in a true business like professional manner.

I would suggest (time permitting of course) that ID's are checked, as you said it is an over 21 event and to ensure no further comments like those from evil loops occur (sound business sense as your reputation is that which builds you and your career in such an industry).

However making such comments on its not what you know but who you know is a blatant threat, why is it everyone over here seems to know someone so high that they can throw you out of the country without your feet touching the floor, if you have to rely on (not aimed at you directly MJ) someone else to fight your battles then why bother trying to fight them?

Good luck for tonight regardless!

You're born, you take s**t. You get out in the world, you take more s**t. You climb a little higher, you take less s**t. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what s**t even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake son.

Now Tyler...

That’s more like it...

But your opening line was "Master Jaycka**"

If you read up user fc1yrg posted, i reposted with "as i said before i will look into the areas discussed and take action if action is needed etc etc"

I think it’s unfair the way evil loops and others have come on and not used any constructive criticism, jumped on the bandwagon etc...

It just not right, and if you read from the very top, read evil loops first three posts, step into my shoes and see it the way I see it. I didn’t even have time to reply and its everyone on the bandwagon, lets all protest and she tells everyone not to go.

We have had 1 complaint on this subject before and one now out of 13 events that where all in the public view & as far as I know they where all a success. All the other people who did this before us failed on the 2nd go, we have been running since last Feb, we must be doing something right?

That one complaint came from the same person in the space of nearly a year. Why couldn’t she have spoken to me on the night? Instead of asking me if the cat got my tounge? Not very nice is it?

I think it’s also unfair as well that you have never been, or not on that night anyway and you are defending something you didn’t even see. Its rumors mate…

I can appreciate your last post but the rest where out of order based on what you have read and in taking people’s side friend or no friend & bringing my personal life into it & you have never been…

So two people who attended have complained, one out of order on the night & one who didn’t like my music and didn’t like it that 1499 people where letting their hair down. Do you see what I mean..

Everyone else who posted never went so are in no position to comment.

Your last post is right, totally right, but the others did not post in constructive fashion & you opened with "Master Jaycka**" & bringing my private life into it??

And if what you said is true about the impersonating person, I would like to find out who it is; we do have a lot of jealous backstabbers out here, so now you know it’s an impersonator and not me, thanks for that... I do not have control over these people.

"as a professional representing your business interests"

So you insult me & you call me names & you have never been to an event... Telling me i was in rydges then telling me it wasnt me, of course it wasnt me.

The facts are unfounded, 1 persons view is tarnished by her behaviour on the night & blowing the whole thing out of proportion here with no constructive criticism and no chance to reply and the other doesnt like my music..

I promise I will look into this as much as i can for the next one.

All will be fully looked into and fixed if needed to be fixed. I hope people can see my side of this instead of being pro regular forum users, if not then thats upto you...

Thank you for your concern, I appreciate you trying to ensure the success of both my events and my business.

I will address the above mentioned issues and hope you will all attend my event in Feb to see our professional, well put together show.

If its your thing of course.. its not everyones cup of tea..

And so that it is public:

I was able to check, no you are right that unless you grew a foot and let you hair down, and some other small items that NO it was not you out last night. But The FACTS remain that you have been informed of what is going on in Doha in your NAME. Perhaps you should remember that you are only as good as your reputation.

And I have not spread a single lie about you. I was in fact thinking of going to your event Thursday, but you have made it such a hostile thing between your potential customers and yourself. Yes I would like to listen to good music one night. no I do not believe I will be supporting you until you figure out that most of the criticsm on this forum about your event could have been taking constructively.

Instead of taking such a hostile defensive attitude you could have looked in to the issues and thanked the individuals for taking the time to let you know. If you had done that you would have killed this thread and taken care of any negative publicity quite quickly as we would assume you were taking care of said problems. As it is however, you say you have no problems, everything is great. If you fail to address customer concerns then it causes us to question your entire operation vice a single event that may or may not have happened.

Perception is reality and rumors do hurt business. Now lets have a nice:

"Thank you all for your concern, I appreciate you trying to ensure the success of both my events and my business. I will address the above metioned issues and hope you will all attend my next event to see our professional, well put together show."

If you could post something like that and MEAN it then I would be willing to bet that almost all of us would be willing to come see a show just to find out if the rumors are founded or unfounded. I like to support a businessman who addresses the concerns of his clients.

Hmmm- which personality is coming out today?

I must have an impersonator...

There are no laminated passes for this event, dummy..

So someone is handing out laminated pass's, even though we are not doing laminated passes for 21st & i gave it to them yesterday when i was at home ill.

"Telling girls age doesn't matter all the girls were welcome"

Well if that where true then we would let them in for free like all the other promoters & places in Doha, i do believe we are the only one's charging ladies..

Why is that? because its 2006 & we bring the biggest djs in the world that are available for Doha & we have a very high budget production & advertising schedule so don’t talk rubbish..

No matter who says what, or what is given out, it doesn’t really matter.

The doormen will stop it on the night anyway.

This is another case from the rumor factory that is Doha... Chinese whispers anyone?? C’mon... you’re all really good at it...

Oh.. And Tyler,

I wouldn’t go around calling people a jackass & telling lies in public until you know the full extent of their capabilities, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know…

Since Global DJ's represe3ntative is such a stand up, mannerred individual lets correct some of the name calling and bickering. In fact I shall only address the FACTS:

FACT 1: I was at Rydges last night

FACT 2: An individual, claiming to be Master Jay was at Rydges

FACT 3: Above individual had plastic laminated card that said VIP and MASTER JAY

FACT 4: Above indivudual specifically told at a minimum of 2 british gals that no ID was required for said event.

You must have an impersonator with laminated Global DJ's VIP passes then. Says Master Jay on one side and has VIP on the other. Guess you have no idea about it, but he is giving y'all a bad name and you really should track him down and stop this irresponsible behavior as he was very definitely telling girls age doesn't matter all the girls were welcome.

Before you immediately fly off the handle and call names, as a professional representing your business interests you should look into the FACTS and not get so emotional. I have ZERO interest in you as you have an adolescent take on your thoughts and opinions. That would indicate that you enjoy a juvenile crowd and would explain the attempts to be deviant. Perha[s you are in fact a predator of young girls and boys. Notice I prefaced that with perhaps meaning it is not fact only speculation.

As another indicator of your mentality...You are currently dating an 18 year old, one who recently turned 18. If you are such an adult and have been responsible at your business then you must have met her at the local McDonald's and she must not attend any of your events. How could she if your events are 21 and up and ID is checked? Lets at least starting getting you FACTS straight before you really get someone upset with your senseless rants.

Tyler..

You are a liar and you know it. Friends with evil loops are we..

I've been ill wrapped up at home for days and we dont just hand out flyers or give VIP's(not even printed) in the street so dont be so stupid.

Get real mate.. Your so full of it..

If you are going to personally insult me & lie online, my number is 5948760, call me and do it over the phone & stop hideing behind your pc...

We know how things work, how things operate, how sensative our business can be so dont be so stupid as to think that we would not follow the rules, they are followed 100% all the time.

Why dont u ask the doorman for his ID.. Read it and see what is sais...

Its not worth his job to let underage people in & its not worth our living to let underage people in either, so get a grip.

Iv been in Doha 16 years, my partner/sponsor is qatari & our other partner has been here for 20 years.

As far as im concerned..

Sum drunk(evil loops) did not get what they wanted so they are trying to drag our name through the dirt..

Go ahead, its fabricated horse ****.

Master Jaycka** himself was out promoting his upcoming event last night. When he approached two English gals on holiday he was quick to point out to them that there was no ID requirement and to not worry about age. This was unsolicited by them as they were unaware of the current concerns on this board.

Neither of the gals was aware of the antics from two weeks ago untiol they began discussing the possibilty of attending Thursday's show and asked if I wanted to attend with them as he had provided a VIP pass to the ladies. I discussed with them what I had heard, quantifying it as third hand knowledge from this site, and they were not too happy to learn of the kids in the event. Perhaps Master Jaycka** should watch what he says in public as to not contradict himself so blatantly.

Hmmm- which personality is coming out today?

“As far as your conecerned”

Well as far as Im conecerned all I see is lying and accusations from you evil loops. And this certainly isn’t the place for it..

“Any law abiding citizen would have done the same thing” No laws are being broken so you have nothing to moan about... Some flyers don’t state 21 +... Well the last one didn’t anyway; the law is 18 on that type of establishment.

We know the law better than you... We have been doing this sort of thing for years worldwide. We check, double check & triple check everything.

And you where shooting your mouth off to the doormen, acting the big shot, Im not going to entertain that. As far as I know the security do they’re job and check everyone’s id that is needed to be checked, this is the first I’ve heard anything like this, apart from your letter the last time, its all you...

So... 1 complaint now, and one a few months back, did we send a letter this time as well?? All you had to do was come and see me, but no I get all this bull and unfounded lies??

Grow up will you…

There are ways of doing things; this is not one of them…

If I thought you had valid points & if you hadn’t shot your mouth of then this would have been taken differently from the beginning but have a look at your posts and put yourself in my shoes...

End of story, end of conversation... You didn’t get what you wanted so you start all this.

Maybe it’s MY turn to write some letters…

Enjoy all the other rocking nights in Doha…

Quote by Master J: evil loops is unhappy because she didnt get her way, im not going to entertain a trouble maker.

Where did I not get my own way?? This has nothing to do with me not getting my own way! All the reasons I stated were based on what is law and order and what isn't. As far as the law is concerned, under-aged drinking is a no-no. Consequently, vomiting and bad-behavior followed. Were these not reasons to complain?

You also quoted that I was "drunk" and barked orders to "your" door staff (who you actually also contradicted yourself with by saying that they dont belong to you!!!???).....I had only been at your gig for around 10 minutes when first noticing students from my school, and I hadn't had a drink either (Im not a drinker myself!)Please explain how "your entire staff of door men could confirm my drunk behavior"???

I simply approached one man who was actually standing at the door, who appeared to be in charge, who happened to be a Scotman - and asked him about his ID policy and I mentioned that there were kids around the age of 14 - 17 inside and I wondered how they had managed to get in if he were actually doing his job. Please ellaborate how on earth this is bossy, unruly and "trying to get my own way"? Didnt your fliers state "over 21-only??" Was I not entitled to query this unusual behavior?

Come on man - any law abiding citizen would have done the same thing. They would have done exactly what I did and queried the situation.

What this boils down to is money making. Turn a blind eye and nobody will be to blame! Unfortunately, somebody has to be blamed for this - and if, like you said is true, that your "security" have nothing to do with the organisation of the event - then that's why Ive approached the situation the way I have. So that someone like yourself,(who could have been oblivious to the situation!) could have rectified it and sorted it out before your reputation goes down the drain!

Master J, I think you have made your bed and will now have to lie in it......as far as Im concerned, Im not the one who relies on the public for his bread and butter mate - you are! Indeed, you are the one who has acted unprofessionally (note the spelling please!) and has not attempted to resolve a situation when given ample opportunity. Your mixing is great, but sadly your attitude leaves nothing to be desired! Grow up, take responsibility for your actions and stop breaking the law...kids arent allowed and you knew they were there! The dealer is just as bad as the stealer........

Inshalah!

novita77> Consider it done..

No need to be so ignorant. good luck

Red>

I cant wait to hear what she has to say aswell.. Lets get it out!

I can have an entire door staff to confirm her actions.

As far as i can see, 2 people have had a bad experience, 1 was valid one was not valid. Neither of them constructive.

People who havnt even been to the event getting involoved when their opinion is invalid no matter what as they did not attend so they cannot comment, its hear say.

Im also out of this forum, i've got a big night to sort out.

Thank you.

fc1yrg>

I said before i will look into the areas discussed and take action if action is needed.

But like i also said, evil loops in the first post who was actually out of hand that night flamed me because she didnt get what she wanted, i reponded like anyone would, not happy.

Then the other guy starts with slagging me off, thats not constructive criticism is it, but like i said, i dont see constructive criticism, so why not have a laugh at it...

The people first responded with flaming posts, shall i sit back when i dont agree with it. If it had been in a constructive manner i would have replied like a normal person, seeking to better myself.

Its easy for people to flame & judge while sitting behind their computers..

You said "a little bit more diplomatically" I would have been if i didnt get flammed, and again, evil loops is unhappy because she didnt get her way, im not going to entertain a trouble maker.

I totally agree with what YOU have said. She made a complaint in writing before, so its not the first time.

What she doesnt realise is that this is some peoples way of lives so to speak..

I have taken everything on board i will look into it and take action if action is needed.

Cheers

Errr, Mr. DJ,

2 unsatisfied customer complaints and instead of asking for their opinion on how to improve your next event, you just went on attacking them personally.... hows is that being 'adult'

1st complaint - someone is just sharing his experience about your organised event. And your respond being Security is not handled by you so its not your issue?? but arent you part of the organising team?. Could you have not given some sort of feedback to the security guard or at least try to make some suggestions to improve things?

As for your invitation to call you and sort out like adults, it came in a little late, dont you think? i.e., after the first customer complaint. I am sure had he know who to complaint to in the first place, he would have. you only said in your first post, call for info, not call to complain.

1498+ satisfied customers but how do you really know. Not all of them read this forum, as you know.... granted, its not everyone's cup of tea, but you could have put it a little bit more diplomatically, and not attacking people personally.

You tried to advertise your event, unfortunately - this is v.v.immature and poor advertising....If this is the way you deal with any customer, then sorry, I would not want to be a customer of yours.

Like i said its not everyones cup of tea..

You are trying to insult me now, your not very good at it.

Yes the customer is always right, but only when they are actually right.

Constructive criticism is cool.. But i dont see any of it here..

As for "Lets not forget about the revenues" first off they are none of your business 2nd, How do you think they can take place in the first place???

You are an Electronic Technician, what do u know about event managment..

Ur not making any sense, you went from valid points to non valid personal criticism inturn making yourself look even worse.

My answer is

I can see from your page "tell me about yourself"

http://www.qatarliving.com/user/red-pope of what kind of person you are.

Too handsome, honest and sincere to be handle by a common woman.

1- The JOB, My warddrove, Real Friends, My properties investments, The LaDiEs, The Internet, The cars, The traveling and most of all THE BIG PRESIDENTS MEN, 75.00 USD per hour. My skills are not cheap.

2- I do carry guns and knives for self defense.

3- Treat me with respect. In return; I will do the same for you, The gentleman ways.

and you are telling me to hush..

Ha Ha Ok, now i have reason to talk to the door men, stop letting daftys like you in.

I hope you didnt have those guns and knives with you at the party lol..

You also have "and Treat me with respect. In return; I will do the same for you, The gentleman ways". Thats out the window aswell!!

Is someone feelings being hurt today? Are your nerves being tweak? Is your music being scratchy tonight?

This sensitive people with their minds being rounded in a vinyl record player must be real emotional. Especially when they cant take criticism as a form of a lyric from a customer.

Have a nice vinyl day dude.

PS

Lets not forget about the revenues, Did you paid your taxes on it?

Did your organization donated some money to the charity organizations of DOHA?

When was the last time you was audit for your incomes?

I guess you don't know what I'm talking about.

Hey dude, check your suggestion box, Must be fool of opinions about your previous shows.

You only are looking at your greatness and you forgot your bad part.

" Customer Service comes first"

Mr.DJ

I did go to your event, Don't worry, I was not impressed with your music or hidden lyrics at all.

I was sober all night, you could count me, out on that one.

I was waiting for your response on this forum to give you my insights.

For the rest of the 1499 people, they all were blasted drunk and out their mind in my opinion.

I know for fact is about making economical revenues for your type of business.

Who cares If someone gets hurt? or the place gets trash?

Don't take no personnel offense, but in QA everyone is free to display their opinions and that is what just happen with Evil Loops and yourself.

Your first impression for a first timer in this type of event was real sad. I'll take my money some where else next time. For the record, that makes two discontent customers for the books.

Don't bother answering me back.

Well evil loops..

I replied to the other post before reading this.. Like i said in the other post unlike some.. i do not have a lot of time come on here and check all the time..

I think you have a little to much time on your hands..

Well we see a different view.. The security is not handeld by us. The head of security is an official from the state, everyone who he thinks that should be id is id'd...

End of story.

Instead of blasting us because of one bad night in your eyes, 1 person from 1500+, you should have came and spoken to me or asked for me or called me, found a solution and sorted it out like adults. Not coming on a website and slagging us..

Im sorry, im willing to listen to people that show some respect to others, but this is unreasonable.

As far as i can see you have just made a fool of yourself in acting in such an unproffesional manner.

My "Scotish Friend" as you put it, has reminded me of you from the night, ordering people around, drunk, "acting the big shot as he put it".

I actually remember asking him to remove you but i didnt know it was you at the time. We do not tolerate people acting like that. Who do you think you are?

I think its clear for everyone to see.. You didnt get your way and you come on here and start slagging me off..

The top 100 dj has thanked us for such a great proffesional gig and wished to be booked again, thats coming from someone that has done over 70 clubs worldwide this year alone and is in the top 50.

Did you write those posts with a hangover?

If your not happy call me 5948760 we can talk like adults..

Novita> U didnt even go so why even comment. Im sorry but why say anything if you didnt go.

Let Global DJs put that in their pipes and smoke it!

BTW: there is going to be a fab UK/International DJ at Qube for New Year...save your Q80 on the 21st Dec by not going to Global and head out new year instead...guaranteed to be a fabulous night! Without any vomiting screaming kids I might add!

Well Dj Master Jay, as you know, Im a huge fan of real clubbing and the rave scene and I have supported your efforts for Global DJ's 100%.....the last event was a huge let down howerever and I will from now on be aggrivating and discouraging other fan from coming to your events.....

This is what we had to endure for our QR80-/////

*teenagers (whom I currently teach) around 14 - 17 year olds being allowed in without ID requests;

*I spoke to the Scots guy on the door and he basically tried to baffle me with the bull story of :"in Qatar its against the law to turn people away" HA HA, what crap!!!

*consequently, we had little 14 year olds (who obviously are very inexperienced and immature!!) dancing n jumping in groups (as teenagers do!), knocking ppl over on the dance floor, snogging their girlfriends non-stop whilst falling over from too much cheap alcohol which I witnessed them buying from the bar at your arranged venue;

*these teenagers then basically took over all the tables, put their feet all over the white table clothes, chain-smoked all night and we're rather loud n lairy as they were in such huge groups.....;

*the ladies (oops, girls!!) toilets were out of use for more than two hours in the wee hours of the morning as their were TWO teenage girls passed out from too much drink, vomit all over them and a Arab (security???) trying to revive them.....a stretcher was called for and these poor girls were virtually carried out (god-forbid if they had choked on their own vomit!!!);

*the toilets were terrible as their was so much vomit, the stench was unbearable!!!;

The list goes on and on........our large group(who generally act like adults and behave themselves despite being in such a huge group!)who have loyaly supported and enjoyed the previous Global Dj session will no longer been attending these teenage-parties, and as for the "21 and overs only" which is printed on the flyers...well I guess you better tell you graphic designer to scap that part as its definitely not needed!!! YOu could possibly save yourself a buck or two!!!

Charge Qr80, get the teenagers in and have a pj party next time...you might as well, as us responsible adults, who enjoy a good party will no longer be supporting your efforts.....

When you decide to pull up security, sack the scots guy and Qatari guy who was letting these kids in - then let us know....we would gladly like to attend a REAL RAVING Global DJ party....like they do in all other countries of the world - ADULTS ONLY for OBVIOUS REASONS!!!!

So, as my title suggests...you must be having a laugh!!!

Big up Ibiza, MOS and cream......get a life Global DJ regime!!!
