Reason I need ethernet is to hook up VOIP if possible, I know that QTel blocked it but I read some people managed to find a way around it.

People also recommended I get the ADSL modem from Qatar because it uses UK DSL protocol not US protocol which makes sense I guess.

Which modem brands are sold in Qatar and can someone give me a model number
