How about Nissan Altima, with 145000 KM

Hello Guys,

I am trying to buy a Nissan Altima 2008 Model 2.5S. With 145000KM done. I need to know the opinion in buying this car and the cost of maintenance. Any Nissan Altima owners?

My colleague owns a Nissan Altima. Spares are costly and maintenance is expensive. No resale value. Kindly go for a Toyota Corolla or Camry. Both are very reliable, cheap to maintain and spares are very cheap. Get any Toyota vehicle for peace of mind.

@acchabaccha, Yes the same thing about the KM done have been pointed out by my friends too as it is too high for a car in Qatar. As you say I think its good to have a computer test. But my concern now is that how frequent the car might need maintenance and the cost of maintenance on average for this car.

Nissan Altima is not a very popular car. The kilometer it had so far covered does not allow the engine to be in good condition. Usually, when a car has clocked so many kilometers, it is asking for serious maintenance. However, you can have the car checked at various computer shops in the city and they could tell you about the performance of the engine as well as other parts. The purchase also depends on your budget. Just think it over.
