The Tourist and the Man in the Boat
I remembered something tonight. It's a story that I heard from a teacher. I felt like posting it here.
One day a tourist went to a village. He needs to cross a river. Then he saw a man with his boat. The man in the boat then gave him a lift and they began to cross the river (it was a long way 'till they rich the land). While on the cruise, the tourist asked the man "Did you finish until college?". The man asked "We were poor and so I didn't". The tourist then said "Ah...You missed a QUARTER of your life!". Then the tourist asked another question "Did you ever ride an airplane?" The man said "No I haven't tried that yet." The tourist said "Ah! you missed HALF of your life!" Then, the tourist said "How about this, have you ever eaten at a fine dining restaurant?" The man said "No, we only eat what I get from this river." Then the tourist concluded "Ah! you missed another QUARTER of your life!" Then the tourist finally concluded "Frankly, I think you are pathetic and I personally pity you". Then the man replied "Do you know how to swim?" The tourist said "No I don't but so what?!" The man then said "Ah! You lost your whole life!" (The boat sank with the tourist)

did you ask this holy book ?
did you visit any religious place ?
did you wish good things to those clergy men ?
at last came the TYCOON...boatman asked "do you know swimming"...."NO"....then your WHOLE life is gone.
boatman swam to the shore, and the BELIEVER sank

I had heard this too when i was a kid and i desparately wanted to learn swimming after that..
