Is stealing eggs considered a crime?

"Hi everyone.

I am new here in Qatar and I would like to raise the question stated in the title. I found out just tonight that my roommate has been stealing my eggs which I have been hiding under my bed frame. This is the second incident that I lost eggs. The first incident, I lost 3 eggs. And the second incident which happened tonight, I lost 3 eggs again.

I know this is a petty kind of incident but I don't know if some of my things are being stolen also. Should I report it to the police? Will they consider it knowing that this sounds silly or funny?

I know that the item stolen is cheap. But I am not after the item, rather I am after the act.

What do you think, guys?"

it is a serious crime that should be punished to the stictest extent of the law. Report it to police and if they dont listen to you then take the law in your own hand and act even if it is after the fact. All the best.

Don't go to the Police yet.

There are two options.

1. Pretend that you are going out for the whole day, but hide in the cupboard (drill a hole first). Then wait for the culprit to come and take the eggs and catch her red handed.

2. Three eggs a day is way too much cholesterol. Wait for your room mate to have heart problems.

NB. If you are tired tell your spouse/fiancee to take turns in sitting on top the egg!

You should put your eggs right under your bums. You should know better!

That way the eggs hatch faster! And there is no chance of them being stolen!

You should know by now that putting them under the bed is not good method of incubation!

Is your roommate a serpent?
