Has typos gotten you in trouble or created a funny situation?
A friend of mine, who shall remain anonymous, told me something quite funny. It goes something like this.
She had rented her home out back in her country while she is living here in Qatar. She wanted to let her insurance company know about an agreement she has with the new tenants,
So she wrote a letter to her insurance company explaining the agreement between her and the new tenants.
See if you can spot the TYPO that made the insurance man reply back with a lol so much.
Dear Mr. Insurance Man,
I rented my home the other day, and made an agreement with the tenant to be able to leave my thongs in the garage while I am out of the country. They are quite expensive, and cost around 10,000 USD.
I would hate for anything to happen to them. Will they be insured?
Please let me know if there is anything I need to be concerned about.

:) can't wait to read what a typo has done in your life. Good thing we have spell check these days, I just don't understand why some people never use it. But I know we get in hurry also. Lol guess we better preview our work before clicking send next time. Hee hee
Or perhaps, the evil iPad speller strikes again..... Lol I know mine loves to correct words that does not need correcting, or simply chooses a word it likes better. Ohhh, for the love of Apple.

but spell check will not do anything in this case. both are legitimate words no error in spelling for spell check to correct, isn't it?

Designer thongs can be quite expensive. My collection including Ultimo and Agent Provocateur requires temperature controlled environment to keep them supple and like new - especially the fur lining.
