New Definition for UNLIMITED
By Danger Dan •
Hi all!!!!!
Yesterday I called to Qtel customer care for get some more details regarding their unlimited Broadband connection. Then only I came to know the hidden truth. Unlimited mean we can use only 15 GB. That’s all. After that we cannot use internet. But still their calling for it as UNLIMITED broadband connection.
My question is why their cheating for customers using this kind of ridiculous words.
PM me regarding your line problems, if youre in the south side and Im around that area maybe I can help ya out.
Sad but true. I cant blame customers who complains to me everytime I come over and provide them the services they requested. Well, there are still some good guys there who will help you out. :)
its your problem. You are supposed to read the fine print before you sign on to something. Looks like you are an educated idiot
call their hotline, it will take you forever to reach them!! =;o)
Psycho may be Ur not a stupid. But ur a purblind persion. I’m already using ADSL unlimited line. So isn’t it unlimited.
Have you signed up for an “unlimited” package from Qtel only to read the small print and find out that your broadband can be capped?
Almost every “unlimited” broadband plan (around the world) actually has a fair usage policy, which can end up imposing limits on your downloading or throttling your speeds.
You probably share your broadband connection with around 49 other people because most home broadband connections have a contention ratio of 50:1.
So the problem is that if you’re a big downloader (for Qtel atleast), you could be slowing down the broadband connection of up to 49 other people. And if you are regularly affecting other people’s internet, Qtel might decide that something needs to be done.
(charging you for data traffic or capping your speed)
my advise:
It’s when you use it, not how
unlimited natural resources.......oil & gas...
challenge is how much one could explore...
unlimited buffets...it is your capacity how much u cud grab at one go ;D
they are not cheating. they are 'fooling' stupid people like you. Use your brains please. How can any service be unlimited?
It falls under the category of certain assumed definitions....
like c u tomorrow.....obviously it mean next working day....not on Fridays' LOL
we should start a qtel dictionary for everyone to use
I will call you tomorrow = Translated = I will not call, you better follow up again
I will inform the technician = Translated = I will not do anything, you better follow up again
Installation in 10 days = Translation = you better come back in 10 days to follow up again coz we will definitely not do anything for 2-3 weeks
when i saw the title .. i bet it was related to QTEL ... qtel have its own dictionary .. for this reason i never bought unlimited mobile broadband from them ... when i ask them how is unlimited = 15GB ... they say we are trying to make non-tech people stupid ... its pure cheating .. ICT should take notice of this unfair use of real words ... they can say 15GB / month like 5GB/month and so on ... by put * and the end they make is legal to write Unlimited ...
