Hi all!!!!!

Yesterday I called to Qtel customer care for get some more details regarding their unlimited Broadband connection. Then only I came to know the hidden truth. Unlimited mean we can use only 15 GB. That’s all. After that we cannot use internet. But still their calling for it as UNLIMITED broadband connection.
My question is why their cheating for customers using this kind of ridiculous words.

Have you signed up for an “unlimited” package from Qtel only to read the small print and find out that your broadband can be capped?

Almost every “unlimited” broadband plan (around the world) actually has a fair usage policy, which can end up imposing limits on your downloading or throttling your speeds.

You probably share your broadband connection with around 49 other people because most home broadband connections have a contention ratio of 50:1.

So the problem is that if you’re a big downloader (for Qtel atleast), you could be slowing down the broadband connection of up to 49 other people. And if you are regularly affecting other people’s internet, Qtel might decide that something needs to be done.

(charging you for data traffic or capping your speed)

my advise:

It’s when you use it, not how

we should start a qtel dictionary for everyone to use

I will call you tomorrow = Translated = I will not call, you better follow up again

I will inform the technician = Translated = I will not do anything, you better follow up again

Installation in 10 days = Translation = you better come back in 10 days to follow up again coz we will definitely not do anything for 2-3 weeks

when i saw the title .. i bet it was related to QTEL ... qtel have its own dictionary .. for this reason i never bought unlimited mobile broadband from them ... when i ask them how is unlimited = 15GB ... they say we are trying to make non-tech people stupid ... its pure cheating .. ICT should take notice of this unfair use of real words ... they can say 15GB / month like 5GB/month and so on ... by put * and the end they make is legal to write Unlimited ...
