Is it just me?

Absolutely loving the fact that there are no West Asian teams in the semi-finals of an Asian Cup held in Qatar.

I therefore propose that the Asian Confederation be split into East and West, or more to the point, Liked and Disliked.

Disliked will obviously include Iraq, Iran, Saudi and all the other angry countries as well as those with no footballing culture/clue whatsoever, i.e. Qatar, UAE etc.

However Bahrain, India & Uzbekistan will be included in the "Liked" pool. Uzbekistan have some of the hottest women, Bahrainee's are just cool and chilled and India's captain has the best name in world sport "Climax Lawrence".

**** skeptics are now warming to my idea.

Also, Asia currently has 4.5 spots for the World Cup and Oceania 0.5 so 4 spots will go automatically to "Liked" with the remaining spot to go to the winner of Oceania and "Disliked".

***** hold the applause!!!

Another World Cup with no "Disliked" nations would be a fantastic achievement for football and world peace.

Bin Hamman, I'm coming for your position as AFC president!

**** standing ovation & adulation accepted now......

was fantastic to watch 2 games tonight with no angry arabs around.....sorry without the "disliked" confederation teams playing.

my vision will be complete when the muppets that are running this tournament have beer at the stadium and farking merchandise to buy.

bin hamman, please go for sep "corrupt" fatters job....my rubber chicken can run a tournament better than you!!!

***** crowd is now raising their fists for change!!!

I hope the Iraqi team now has some expert doctors to find out why the players keep falling over for no apparent reason. Very troubling illness they have.

Well said

I have said the same thing. A fan shows loyalty and stays to the final whistle especially when their team plays well. I find it indicative of mind set that people leave the stadium if they are not winning and thus disloyal. They aren't fans they are just people who want to win by any means possible.

Australia was not playing with Asian teams right?

:P

for me , our Syrian team played very well, our players were struggling like eagles to honor us.

but

1)we have lack of experience.

2)some problems with the syrian sports committee

3)and 97% of our players are taking this game as a hobby besides there jobs.

so i salute them.

You never know ! Maybe the first thing Bin Hammam will do when he wins the presidency of FIFA is kick Australia back to OFC. You do know AFC has history of that (e.g. Israel ), and it's not like most Asian countries members would object ;)

Wining the 2022 was bad enough Bin Hammam as president of Fifa.. thats going a bit too far! hehe

Ok here is the Deal how many Qatar games did Bin Hammam watch during the AFC? the answer is one. What a die hard Qatar fan..

Well said mate.

Love of this game comes from within, even when you team is loosing you stay till the last whistle is blown, not like these angry Iraqi supporters who were showing the bottom of the shoes to their national team. Showing the sole of the shoe is very disgraceful in Arab culture me think.

Anyway who gives a damn about this Mickey mouse cup anyway. But so glad that Aussies and the rest of the free world countries in Asia are in the semi's unlike these dictarships of the western asian countries. :)
