IRISH HARP LANGUAGE!

Dracula
By Dracula

What I have noticed is that when at Irish Harp when the music makes it impossible for anyone to hear people have created a system of body movements to cover any important questions and situations which might arise. The only problem is that occasionally these signs gets misinterpreted the more you have to drink, which could only lead to.....

QL'S GUIDE TO IRISH HARP SIGN LANGUAGE

Action: Raise bottle with questioning glance and point.
Meaning: Need another drink?
Alcohol induced interpretation: Look! I'm sober enough to lift my bottle.
.
Action: Raising of hand to show small distance between thumb and forefinger, with grimacing glance.
Meaning: Just a single please, I'm driving.
Alcohol induced interpretation: I think the barman isn't so well endowed.
.
Action: While the girl next to you isn't looking, point at her at smile at your friends.
Meaning: She's totally into me.
Alcohol induced interpretation: She's totally into you.
.
Action: Point at dance floor and making dancing movements with arms.
Meaning: Feel like dancing?
Alcohol induced interpretation: There's a guy over there who just called you stupid.
.
Action: Point at exit and make driving action with hands.
Meaning: I'm leaving, see you tomorrow.
Alcohol induced interpretation: I'm just going outside to make driving actions in the fresh air.
.
Action: Move hand in cutting motion across your throat.
Meaning: You're pissing off the bouncers, tone down the wild dance moves.
Alcohol induced interpretation: Tone down the dance moves, you're making everyone uncomfortable with how awesome you are.
.
If you have any other misinterpretations do be kind enough to share with the QL members, we need all the help we can get ...:P

I need some people to invest in establishing a new night club, once is up and running, you will get back your money with 10% interest earn.

The name of the new night club is: "Local Asylum."

PS

I forgot to tell everyone, Membership is required. Just show your Qatar Working permit, by doing, you are in compliance with the law and it just proves that you are already a maniac working here in Qatar.

Due to changes in local law, all nightclubs will be issuing memberships to people who want to enter. If you do not have this, you cannot enter any nightclub, this will come into affect as of Feb 1st 2009.

So, if you would like to continue to see all your favourite locals DJs etc, best be quick and get your memberships sorted out so you can enter the clubs...

"This is true, however it won't be enforced until March. The deal will be that people have to pay 25Qr and provide your Qatari ID and two passport photos in order to get a club membership. Club membership entitles you to free entry and free entry for 1 other person. However this is only for Nightclubs like the Qube, nowhere else is effected."

::

"infor from Qube, that their membership is only 25QR.

so, not that bad.

u need:

-2 passport size photos;

-copy of ur RP

-membership fee of 25QR

-filled application

and, of course, u need to be over 21!"
