No clue which city this caution notice was put up, but definitely in India.

Apparently, the word 'Jetty' in South India means underwear. And they obviously forgot to write WITHOUT before Jetty. LOL

Found this quite funny, hope you guys do too.

Or perhaps the board should read " if your under the influence of alcohol...swimming without underwear is not allowed" :)

First Sentence should have been:

"Swimming with Underwear Not Allowed"

Second Sentence should have been:

"Swimming under influence of Alcohol Not Allowed"

Yup! Must have been from the beach area close to Kerala/Tamil Nadu border.

Must be in Singapore(Tamil is an official language). English is widely used in India. In some places you will find signboards only in English...(Singaporiean..just kidding)

just interchange 'jetty' and 'liqour' and see the statements ... funnier

'BATHING WITH LIQOUR IS PROHIBITED'

'DONT BATH USING JETTY'

seems to be somewhere in kerala or on the kerala-Tamil nadu border ... written in malayalam and tamil ...

That was really funny, Greeker you interpretation made it easy for the readers...

Ray they didn’t mean 'without' more civilized...like bathing with two piece bikini not allowed….bathing with underwear not allowed for men in Tamilnadu…..

It should have probably been written in Tamil Nadu. Anyways, the english version is NOT a spelling mistake.

In the other two languages, its the SAME thing thats written. It is prohibited to wear and underwear and take bath. What the guys probably meant was that you should wearm a towel or something and not the underwear.

Sorry to disappoint, but i dont think that was the entrance to a nudist camp or anything, hehe!
