SEASONS....
I would to share a story with you all...which I read long time back but still I remember the moral of the story and I learned a lesson from it.
This story is about an old man who had 4 sons. He wanted his sons to learn & experience and He never wanted them to judge the things too quickly.....so he sent them all on a quest...but he didnt sent them together but Turn by Turn...he advised them to go to a faaaaar away land and search for a PEAR tree.
This PEAR tree was a great distance away and each one of them had to go there in the allocated season.
The first son went in Winter Season, 2nd went in Spring Season, 3rd went in Summer and 4th went in Autumn. When the whole year passed & they all had gone & came back from the quest, then one day the old man called all his sons together and asked them to share their experience.
The 1st son said "when I saw the tree it had no fruit on it, it looked ugly, bent and twisted"
The 2nd son agreed " yes you are right there were no fruits on it but when I saw it, it was covered with green buds...looked fresh and full of promise"
3rd son interuppted "no, the tree was filled with blossoms and smelled so so sweet"
4th son disagreed with all of them and said" when I saw the tree...it was ripe, drooping with fruits, full of life and fulfillment"
They were surprised to hear each others comments, cause every one had a different explanation for the Pear tree. For one moment they thought...are we talking about the same tree ??
But then, the old man said, "they all were absolutely right as they have seen the same tree but in different season of tree's life".
Similarly...when we meet someone, we must not make a judgement about him by meeting him only once....we cannot for only 1 reason put the label of good or bad on someone's head....we must give everyone a second chance...and then again life cant be judged by one difficult season...one bad season will pass and another good season will come...
Life is filled with many seasons..."Do not let the pain of one difficult period destroy the joy of all the rest of your life"
