Is it True?

Hi Guy's,
I am planning to buy a used car. But thre is a roomer going on more than 4 yrs old vehicle sometimes later, if we re-sell to someone, the buyer can not change the registration to his nme. People saying this rule is already implimented in Dubai. Now this can be implimented here too very soon.

Also what is the reiability of computer testing for used cars performance? Can you name any reliable centers in Najma or near by areas?
thx

In UAE they have planned to implement ban on car registeration above 15 year old but even few days back it came in newspapers that they just postponded till further notice.

So I guess in Qatar even if it will ever get implemented it would not be before its implemented in UAE. I believe here in Qatar they did some study to ban more then 10 years old cars but still no decisions came out. You can go and buy any car.

As for car checkups go to salwa road. You will find plenty there.

Good Luck

Peace

Even in Dubai it is not yet implemented. Mine you that there are old cars which kept in peak condition in Dubai as old as 50+.
