Importing car from UAE to Qatar

Hello All,

I would like to import a Prado -2015 model from UAE to Qatar for my personal use as this 60th year Limited edition is not available in Qatar. Please let me know the procedure.

While I'm checking in Qatar I was told that I need to get the customs fees paid certificate and shipping documents from UAE dealer stating that the customs fees are paid so that I don't have to pay them again in Qatar (heard it's a GCC deal). Anybody has any experience in this?

As per UAE dealer website this option will cost 154K. So paying customs duty again in Qatar is a big deal and if that's the case it's not worth to import.

Where I can enquire officially all these details?

Get hold of a cargo company in the UAE which has regular shipments to Qatar. They should be able to guide you on this.
