I need some inputs -- Which will be the right car for qatar roads / qatar market?

I'm planning to go inn for either of the following - need some inputs, which will be better of the lot?

1. New Subaru Legacy 2.0 Full options
2. New Subaru legacy 2.5i (waiting period is 4 months but)
3. One year old Honda Accord
4. New Subaru Tribeca (not checked the price yet)

I'm looking at a car that will a have normal maintenance cost and with a very good drive factor.

My budget is 85 Grand for a new sedans and maximum 110 grand for a SUV type vehicle and 65 Grand for a second -hand vehicle (not older than 2 years) ---

What will be your pick and what u suggest? i'll be in this country for a maximum of 3 years and min is 18 months. So i expect a decent resale value and shouldn't have a problem reselling the model at hand.

Personally i like subaru's -- but how is it pitted in the qatari market ??

I'm selling my Seat Altea for 54,000. Very nice car, 2006 model, only 23000km. Full option and lots of nice features, quite powerful but only needs 11L/100km.

New price was like 85,000.

man, my advise is to go for japanees car

1- Toyota

2- Nissan

3- Honda

I am driving honda accord 2008 it is a very good car, powerful, fuel consumption is fine, i really like it. so i will strongly advise u to buy the honda.

Japanees cars are like hot cack in Gulf, the resale value is high, and your lose will be minimum.

If you staying for 3 yrs then you will need to sell again the car after 3 yrs before you go ..

Subaru --> very difficult to sell

Honda ---> can be sold but u gonna lose a lot of money

Toyota --> Car no. 1 in this country and it keeps it's price. you won't lose too much

PLUS the parts for Toyota are available anywhere anytime .. even ppl make fun of that here saying u can get it from a supermarket..

The only prob. is the service which is kinda bad .. but it can be beard..

This may sound a daft question, but why do you have a different budget for each car? If you have 110k then spend 110k.

Out of the cars you are looking at I'd take the Accord. Resale on Subaru is not as good.
