Can anyone please explain me what Horsepower and Torque is?? I just know that they are related to cars, nothing else :( .So please dont just copy the information from any website and paste here. I want genuine answers (as i really dont have any idea about them). Waiting for ur comments....
In simple words,
More torque makes faster acceleration
and more horspower makes more speed
My "genuine" answer I posted an hour ago, disappeared. Therefore, one more time: If a horse kicks you, that's 1 horsepower. If Torque turns your head around on your shoulders, that's 1 torque.

horse power is the unit for measuring the power on diffrent machine it is the unit only like kilogram and pound.while torque is the unit of applied force in is calculated in newton or in kilogram .
