Mr. Manu as for as gratuity/final settlement concern it is employee right to receive at the time of end of tenure with your sponsor. but in your case you went on leave and didn't come back which will be considered as labor law articles 61 that an employee didn't report duty for the seven consecutive days which articles facilitate that employer may dismiss to an employee without end of service benefits or notice.

In exception case if your employer is OK to settle your due benefits and be kind with them and go through your superior whom can assist you to get this done.
