I am Manu , I was working in Qatar as Mechanical Engineer in Qatar for last 4 years
I joined in Qatar on 16 march 2012 on a job contract that having yearly 30 days paid annual leave. on 16 Feb 2016 i left for an emergency vaccation for the purpose of my the medical treatment of my wife and due to my current circumstances i cant go back to qatar to join back . I had informed my company that i would like to cancel visa which my visa was getting expired on 27 march 2016.
I had came back to qatar after my last vaccation on 16 sept 2014 and i didnt take my vaccation after that and so i didnt get my leave salary for the tennure also. When i left for the emergency vaccation i was informed that they will transfer my leave salary to my account and didnt happened . Now i request them for my settlement and they informed me that an amount of return ticket will be deducted from my settlement, I agreed with that and requested them to send my money asap as i am in need of money . But it is been 2 months more and till now no reply for my followups ? .
Can anybody please guide me what will be the actual calculation of my settlemet in this case .
Whome can i contact legally for my justice ?
I doubt very much you will be able to get a single Dirham. That is the reality on the ground. Keep trying though, but don't be too hopeful.

Mr. Manu as for leave salary concern that you have signed an labor agreement that 30 days per year which facilitates that you will be entitled 30 days at end of your anniversary.
It is matter of concern whether you applied emergency vacation Leave with pay (LWP) or Leave without pay (LWOP). If its LWP the leave salary had supposed to be paid/transferred to your bank account.
If its LWOP the leave salary will be accumulated and it would be paid when an employee go on vacation or end of tenure.
But in case of employment terminates under Articles 61 the final settlement includes accumulated leave salary, gratuity and notice pay will not be paid.
Recommending you kindly go through your manager/superior in your company and get the payment whatsoever money if they wish to paid.

@ahmedaslam , Thanks for the info brother . It seems like i have no chance to get that . But let me ask you one more concern , what about the leave salary which i didnt received from last one and half year
You are a victim of the perfect Labor Law of Qatar which is only meant to protect the employer.
@lucky I am happy to do so but it should be confirmed that it reached some needy . I am not happy to donate it to the company which never concerned about their employees needs
Mr. Manu as for as gratuity/final settlement concern it is employee right to receive at the time of end of tenure with your sponsor. but in your case you went on leave and didn't come back which will be considered as labor law articles 61 that an employee didn't report duty for the seven consecutive days which articles facilitate that employer may dismiss to an employee without end of service benefits or notice.
In exception case if your employer is OK to settle your due benefits and be kind with them and go through your superior whom can assist you to get this done.
