The OP should also note that the UK visit visa issued is for 6 months without finger printing and full mediacal check, where as Qatar only offers Brits a 2 week visa on arrival. I really dont know what the OP is complaining about. The Uk visit visa offer to Qataris is much better than the one offered to Brits by the Qataris on arrival the duration is 6 months without any finger testing or full medical!
