Ha ha. The airport is pretty small and all the signs are in English. You will be picked up by a passenger bus at the aircraft and taken to arrivals/immigration. Present your documents and if you don't have a visa, pay (credit card) for a tourist visa. Walk forward a few steps into baggage claim and grab a guy in a grey suit, he's a porter. Pay 15 QR (there's an ATM in the arrivals hall) and he will pick up all your bags and take them through customs/security. Walk a few more steps and you are in the meet and greet hall. Your porter can take your bags right to a taxi if you are not being met. Your taxi should cost around 50-80 QR. First thing you will go to Carrefour or Lulu and buy a phone and a SIM card (take your passport) if your employer doesn't provide one. The clocks are all standard but Doha is NOT on Daylight Savings Time - you WANT that sun to set early!
