sorry to hear that smoke.. my suggestion is that maybe you or we can create a group or start with a small group that is already trusted here in QL. It's like building a strong foundation of friendship that everyone can benefit. Maybe it's better if we could avoid also few things:
1. Posting the venue in public(maybe it's better so send it through pm the venue only to those who confirm to come.
2. Add only those who are serious about gathering not just the one who come and observe. (you know what i mean)
