Flor - in respect to my nanny is, the difference between myself and my company is that I will help my nanny gain useful further employment (if that is her wish), this is called being under redundancy notice and assisting with redeployment followed by a final pay off/bonus. I would never cease her employment till she had found something and was ready to move.

However, do you think that my company, when it no longer has a use for me will treat me as such, no, it will tell me to go and go quitely and expect nothing more from them.
