as britexpat said: F1 takes committing at a young age and with the infrastructure/money being thrown at motorsports in the GCC, we could indeed have an Arab sensation on the F1 grid before long..we have Sulayem in the UAE who's world famous on the rally scene and Attiyah from Qatar who won the Dakar rally (800 vehicles start this race)..the Arab world is shot through with the love of speed..doing this on the road is wrong but skills they have in plenty..plus you don't need to get the physics of something to be talented at it..it could be instinctive and natural..it's only a genius like schumacher or senna that knows how his car could go even faster..the rest are just naturally fast drivers who depend on their engineers for a good car..doesn't mean they're bad drivers does it?
