LincolnPirate: So much hate for the Arab world. I wonder why your still in it?

By mohdata• 8 Jan 2012 09:31

well LP i don't even know what a suitable reply to your comment would be..it's not even related to the original discussion..so i will just give you the fact that he most likely died due to a mechanical malfunction in his steering column which disconnected from the wheels..in a turn..at 320 kmph..skill doesn't even count in that scenario..further, skills don't guarantee immortality do they?..God, fate and destiny are involved too..anyways..you have a certain mindset i guess so will just leave you to it..tc:-)

Well I didn't say that doing it in the street is something that i agree on.

Mike: You got a point there but you can't make this point reach to their minds. Having that said, They are still Skilled doing these stunts. The only prob. is that they are doing it in general roads. which i totally do not agree with.

But you know, Some rules are meant to broken others are meant to be bent.

They are probably good in physics...the gyroscopic effect of the wheels beyond a certain speed provides the vehicle stability but they should know that the CG of the tilted vehicle is raised which tends to make it metastable :)

If Senna was a "good" driver, why did he die in his car? Obviously he wasn't good enough!

By anonymous• 5 Jan 2012 17:17
anonymous

WOW Exellent stunt, but please if any such stunt drivers are reading this please use deserted roads or areas probably earmarked for such stunts,

By anonymous• 5 Jan 2012 15:21

You are probably right, I will introduce you to my friend Manny Pacquiao, he will show you his skills... oh no sorry, he cannot punch anyone outside the ring.

Get my point?

as britexpat said: F1 takes committing at a young age and with the infrastructure/money being thrown at motorsports in the GCC, we could indeed have an Arab sensation on the F1 grid before long..we have Sulayem in the UAE who's world famous on the rally scene and Attiyah from Qatar who won the Dakar rally (800 vehicles start this race)..the Arab world is shot through with the love of speed..doing this on the road is wrong but skills they have in plenty..plus you don't need to get the physics of something to be talented at it..it could be instinctive and natural..it's only a genius like schumacher or senna that knows how his car could go even faster..the rest are just naturally fast drivers who depend on their engineers for a good car..doesn't mean they're bad drivers does it?

I believe a Qatari driver won the Paris / Dakkar last year.

Having said that, getting into Formula 1 is not easy and demands great sacrifice and dedication.

Ram, if they really know what they are doing then they deserve an ass beating. Roads are not race circuits and they need to respect the laws just like everyone else.

u can never see all those kinda stunts anywhere else apart from the GCC .....

MAINLY COZ THE FUEL THERE IS EXPENSIVE AND THEY CANT AFFORD TO DAMAGE A LANDCRUZER!!!

I have seen one doing it on the Round about next to the golf club. I was getting in the round about with children in my car when I realised that the car was driving towards my car and the driver was having a laugh... What a shame....

When the mind is corrupted, the road to hell is certain...

Ram- They know what they've been doing, sad thing is Change is not in their minds. They own their country & they can do whatever they want in it as what they always say.:(

By anonymous• 4 Jan 2012 12:14
anonymous

They are "good in being reckless?" Wow, finally they are good in something!

just drive in ur way. don't move left or right and TRUST me they will overtake you and they know what they are doing.

And yes, they are skilled. Driving a car in that way couldn't be something else rather than skills. it's not easy at all. though it's RECKLESS and i don't recommend doing that. but they are really good at it.

By ingeniero• 4 Jan 2012 11:17
ingeniero

They have skills, but their upper department is empty, they need someone, who can train them properly, teach them safety precautions, so that they can use this skill in proper way without putting their own/others life in danger

By anonymous• 4 Jan 2012 11:06
anonymous

Yes they have the skills but i hope they have brains too to think about others. The main reason why im afraid to drive here is the way they drive.

By anonymous• 4 Jan 2012 10:41
anonymous

They certainly have some skills but no consideration for the lives of others. Someone needs to put those guys in jail.

Its true and not fake. I have noticed these kind of stunts a day before National day near by city center.

By anonymous• 4 Jan 2012 09:50

... "they do so well as motor races"? How many Formula 1 drivers of Arab nationality are there? The answer is "ZERO". Skilled drivers? You make me laugh! They have no understanding of the risks when doing these things. And they surely know nothing about physics.
