On the upside, after years and years of residents at Barwa in Abu Hamour having to put up with a totally inadequate 2 lane road, the powers that be were forced to upgrade it to a 4 lane road to accommodate the bus transport of athletes through this area.
So given that residents rank second in importance to visiting athletes, we should perhaps welcome more visiting sports teams to Qatar if we want things to get fixed quickly??
