It's got to do with the education system in the respective countries. Google for IIT. Ranked above most American Ivy league colleges.

The one and only Nigerian we hired (in the past 8 yrs of doing business, 1000+ employees in the qatar office), cheated the company, cheated the loacal banks and cheated the real estate agent and landlord, and did a runner. Despite this, we would still hire a Nigerian with the right qualifications and experience. One person (or 20 even 20 000, don't represent the whole nation).
4. If you want equal opportunities, there's no better place to be than Canada. Stop wasting your time here. We make certain sacrifices and give up certain things in order to have a tax free pay packet which our struggling economies back home cannot provide.
