I see a lot of people get helped here on QL, in a lot of different ways. Sometimes I am able to contribute. I have personally made some fantastic friends as a result of QL. And am very grateful for it being here.
I see from your history acbizgirl that you have regretted helping someone in the past yourself. If you were a regular QL user you would know that sometime it is difficult to sort out the genuine people from time wasters. I have taken time to write lengthy replies only to find that it was all for nothing because the thread was made up.
People have good days and bad days here on QL. Sometime the fuse is a little short and as a result sometimes there are some sharp responses. And yes sometimes we can all be a bit flippant. And yes I am very guilty of that.
Spend some more time on QL, and lets see if your perception changes. There are some really terrific people on here, you just need to get to know the characters and don't judge too quickly.
