I mentioned to these ladies to publish the IDs of Rishimba's GF on here who have sent nasty PMs to people. Being a lady I was just bluffing because I would never want that to happen to a lady, especially innocent ladies who maybe of caring type and it is not any fault of their own or their character. I know many good ladies and one should be fortunate enough to have good friends like that.

But seems you want to play poker and call my bluff. Would you like to Jack? Will you consider the losses and gains?

But here is my respect and tribute to these ladies who put up with abuse including Rishmba's GF's. I fold my hand so you can win Jack and celebrate your winnings with your friend Rishimba.

Jack baby, no one said you sent the PMs. As usual you are not reading the thread and just reacting because you name was mentioned. No one said you sent the PMs. You should be so lucky to be able to send PMs to ladies whom you can call your GFs. I never received any PMs from you or from any of Rishimba’s GFs… damn it why not?

Come talk to me baby and I will teach you English comprehension that I teach my 7 year old boy. I am not Tinker. God I hate that name and to be honest, there is way too much garbage here to read. You guys have no life so get a life man or get a job that requires intelligence. Now I understand why Rishimba gets his GFs and BFs to fight his battle. I did say he was half intelligent. Jackmohan2007, first of all you should address your comment to archiecomics who mentioned your name along with Rishimba.

You are incorrect in stating who is who in the zoo but agree with your suggestion to move on and I think that was mentioned by your friend Rishimba as well earlier. He (Rishimba) agreed to tell his Gfs not to send nasty notes and if we were his GFs he would have sent us his notes and I did not receive one as of yet.

Mods and QL people to set the record straight, I do not belong to any of these IDs mentioned by Jackmoahn2007.

And please terminate this thread as it has served its purpose which is to re-enforce that if anyone receives any unwanted or unsolicited PMs they should be reported and people should be allowed to participate and debate without the fear of reprisal.

If anyone receives unwanted Pm's, please advise the Mods by sending a PM to the Mods (Don't use the contact link) and we can take action.

I too went away from QL because the good topics were being turned into jokes and people started to make you feel unwelcome. I too received many PMs mostly from men looking for you know what because I am a married woman who works alone in Doha. PMs can be controlled by simply not answering them, but when people (who struggle with the basic command of the English language) make you feel unwelcomed, it turns you off. JackA55mohan was the trigger in my case and I decided to leave rather than debate with someone who can barely comprehend the simple thread content being discussed. However, I continued to read on QL…topics of my choice…. without participation.

There are a lot of people who may project superficial intelligence through writing/debating about complex and sophisticated topics on QL that are actually quite interesting and informative. A lot of the information is available on the net but you have people here, masters in surfing the net (plagiarizing), who write about these topics as though it is their own without reference and due credit. I like it because then I don’t have to surf the net as much!!

Rishimba is one of those guys who writes great stuff but makes a boo boo once in a while by making a sarcastic, hypocritical or even a sexist remark. He thinks it is funny but he has no other avenue for defence or in some cases he has no message to deliver. These one liners are meant as provocation to see if people will leave the site. I must hand it to him though, I never seen him make a racist remark but then again he is still young. Good on you Rishimba…keep it up. The problem is when these topics turn into personal attack (like I may be appearing to do now and I am not honest cross my heart).

You ladies are way too soft on guys like Rishimba when he shows his true character (appearing highly intelligent but shallow in his thoughts, respect, feedback and consideration for others with these one liners). In this case why don’t you ladies do us all a favour and publish the IDs of Rishimba’s GFs who are sending nasty PMs because we ladies are hitting on him….poor Rishimba.

I wonder what kind of ladies hit on him and what kind of ladies don’t like other ladies hitting on him? But we will all know once the ladies’ IDs are published here on QL, so we can avoid these ladies who are so fond of Rishimba. We are only interested in his brain not in biting his little green chilli!!

Rishimba my dear fellow worker in Qatar, if you are half as intelligent as you project (which I think you are and I am being sincere here), I would be careful in what I write and where. Just stick to the good topics, I guarantee you no lady will ever hit on you and you can still have your GF’s and they don’t have to worry about other ladies hitting on you. Deal?

Sorry you have had this bad experience. It must be awful to have come back to hate mail.

QL is good fun and don't take any notice of people who try and bring you down.

There are an awful lot of really nice fun people on here and there are of course a few who show themselves for what they are.

Usually they are the ones that forgot to engage their brains in their numerous cut and paste sad life :-)

yea unfortunatly ppl who does not know what the meaning of debate, just insult you when they disagree with u. as they do not have argument, they think it's easier to say insults,

but at the same time, that shows the level of some QL members!

Thanks everyone for your comments, Timebandit and Nomercy, you are both right and this site is a great place to make friends, just every now and then I think its relevant to remind people there are new people on here that might get the wrong impression by some of the out and out personal attacks that go on, if only for the sake of bordom and debate.

I leave the country for 3 days and when i get back i see some real nasty PM's sent to me. I joined this site recently and I am already getting hate messges for having a simple debate from persons who dont have one single comment to their name.

Rishimba - the bite on a green chilly is not always delicious. It can STING.

I had a normal debate with you on a thread and you took my comments to you personally. So much so I have receievd hate messges from 2 ladies. Now i have no idea if you have taken on 2 other ID's to do this job or if you have friends who are doing this.

But it is in rather poor taste. I did not realise that you needed a lady/ladies to look out for you. I thought you could stand up for your ownself. But I see that its not true.

To me this is just a debate. Nothing personal. But to send me nasty hate mail in response to an open debate is not in good taste. I thought you had a little more class than that.

@ OP... to tell you frankly, I may be the rarest one here on QL who though never gets involved in bashing but does love it the most of all types of discussions.....it just makes my life outside QL, which mostly is, so much easier to deal with people with different backgrounds.. it just educates me how to handle someone with that particular background because if someone with that background can't handle something online I wouldn't like to take him on that in real life, so as not to offend him for nothing...it does help me talk to them the same things though not directly but may be in an indirect way... and also as I never looked out for friends on QL, though made a few whose friendship I relish, it makes my life even more easier on QL. Never felt anything was wrong...and yes some people will always try to act smart... but if they don't matter who cares, they are not the last ones to talk to or to get bothered with.

achbizgirl, I can only confirm what timbandit said. I too, have met most of my friends here on QL, granted that was several years ago, nevertheless, there are still some really nice people on QL.

As on every site, you will find all sorts of people, some you like to talk to, some you like to debate with, some you make fun of and some you just can't stand. Nothing unusual in that.

Anf if a person really needs help, he/she most certainly will find a helping hand on QL. This has never changed. One might have to sort through posts, but in the end, there will be people helping.

I see a lot of people get helped here on QL, in a lot of different ways. Sometimes I am able to contribute. I have personally made some fantastic friends as a result of QL. And am very grateful for it being here.

I see from your history acbizgirl that you have regretted helping someone in the past yourself. If you were a regular QL user you would know that sometime it is difficult to sort out the genuine people from time wasters. I have taken time to write lengthy replies only to find that it was all for nothing because the thread was made up.

People have good days and bad days here on QL. Sometime the fuse is a little short and as a result sometimes there are some sharp responses. And yes sometimes we can all be a bit flippant. And yes I am very guilty of that.

Spend some more time on QL, and lets see if your perception changes. There are some really terrific people on here, you just need to get to know the characters and don't judge too quickly.

acbizgirl I share your concern and have noticed especially some old users who may think they own the place.

I am not angry Behrang, I am just disapointed in the comments posted by some of the QL Members. A lot have no relevants and are just hurtful and mean. I wish the MODS did a better job suspending the access of the people who are the biggest offenders.

I remember when I came to Qatar and posted a similliar thread it put me off this site immediatly and gave me a very bad impression. I rarely post here anymore, only rarely to offer genunie advise to people, and to check and see if things have lightened up at all. For the most part things have not changed, and yes I find it very very sad.

It makes me sad TOO that people who come to QL looking for advise or friendship are so often attacked and demoralized.
