A lot of these so called ruler claim decendency from the Prophet to legitimize their rule..the reality is different..most of claims cannot be verified and even then it has no bearing on the facts...i.e. these Kingdoms were created by the British and French (Sykes/Picot Agreements, Percy Cox and then Balfour; not to mention the treat made in Istanbul in the 1920's where it was agreed to carve up the muslim world)...these guys were placed into power for their loyalty to Britain and France and now their decendants remain in power thanks to the americans..the people despise them..it is only a matter of time.
