Your hypothesis (what if O&G runs out) is based on a future event which will occur in very distant future, a century or atleast many decades. Now scenerio is not what they’ll do after that, scenerio is what they’ll do till then…..so here they are, rightly – showing their presence at world stage in big way, whatever way they feel the can !
