It;s really quite simple. Apparently women can't expect all men to behave decent. Therefore women need to protect themselves and avoid potentially dangerous situations.
I am not saying this is right, but for the time being this seems to be the best strategy.

I also think it would be very satisfactory if women learned to kick those areshole's arses BEFORE they can get nasty.
