I'm afraid I disagree.

Keeping wild animals as pets is just as cruel as keeping them in a zoo. At least in a zoo they may be kept by professionals who actually know how to keep them, be fed a proper diet and have the chance to live in social groups.

People who parade them round as pets rarely feed them the right diet, don't allow them to behave naturally and then wonder why the animal turns and attacks them.
