it was said in yesterday's news that this was the first time it happened in Qatar.. maybe they meant it was the first time somebody died from an incident like this.. apparently, a child being left behind in a school bus is not new here and it happened before, only difference is that in the other incident, the child lived to tell the tale: "After reading the heart-wrenching story of Sarah Gazdhar, a KG-1 student of DPS-MIS dying of heat and asphyxiation in a school bus in yesterday’s newspapers, Mohamed Rizwan, a Sri Lankan parent called Gulf Times to share his good luck, all the while thanking God profusely for sparing his family of the trauma of bereavement."
