I don't think he deserves life, but he needs to be tried as an adult as juvenile detention will not be justice for the crime he committed. He would be out at 21. He needs to be held accountable for his actions and shown that he cannot behave that way.

Way to often the courts are to soft on young criminals which does not help them or society. He needs severe counseling, behavior modification, and to serve hard time for what he did.
