I know in general that showing up well-groomed and looking like money will usually get you further than if you show up in jeans and flip flops and looking like irresponsible teens. I'm not sure how far an American passport will get us, especially since i'm asian-american (3rd/4th generation) and my bf is white. I mean, we're both americans, but people are obviously going to judge us by the way we look.
We have decided not to travel to Qatar/Doha in the chance that they refuse to give us a hotel room. Its a very long way to travel only to be told that we can't stay.
In any case, we always have MotoGP @ Laguna Seca, which is only an hour and a half from my house lol.
