Since you're coming all the way from US (west coast) I must warn you that it might not really be worth it.
Few points to be considered,
1. There is only a single seating stand in the whole track which is along the straight and on top of the PIT lane (VIP seating).
2. You cannot walk/ride/drive around to other parts of the track (corners) unlike in other countries, which means you will be restricted to watch the race when the bikes zoom past along the straight and the rest you'll end up watching on the big screen.
3. Renting a cab is not an option since you wont find a single cab for your return journey unless you pay for the waiting charges (3-4 hrs and three days).
4. Hiring a car and driving down is a good option, since there is a direct highway bi passing the city traffic to Losail track.
5. There are no buses to Losail to my knowledge, unless they have something on package deals and if you are on a package deal they should take care of you travel to and fro.
6. If you have VIP tickets you will get to walk along the PIT lane once and maybe grad a few pics/autographs if you are lucky.
7. Dubai creek hotel is in Dubai which is in another country, you need to find a hotel in Doha.
8. If you are thinking about riding/driving around the track, there are separate track days for it. Please check Losail circuit website for more info. They will not let you ride/drive around the track during the three days of MotoGP.
