not because "We can" but yes animals are being killed for need, now how to define need is viable or not, a chicken is killed for say food and tiger is killed 4 some thing else, dint in primitive ages tiger skin was used for protection of humanbeings?
as for bullet? ever did a deer complain about tiger's teeth?, thats their bullet; still i think it's survival cycle.
